The Japanese carmaker Mitsubishi has announced the release of a new 7-seater SUV that should be accessible to buyers in developing countries. According to the latest data, a DST serial crossover may appear in the markets at the end of this year.
The DST concept was presented at the Philippine International Motor Show in 2024 and endowed with a design similar to modern Mitsubishi models, including XForce. The new SUV will install a large radiator grille that resembles an Outlander model, as well as boomerang-like LED headlights and Y-shaped lanterns on feed.
The car will receive spacious body size and wheelbase to provide a comfortable space for three rows of seats. The DST prototype showed that the new crossover will be equipped with an independent air conditioning system and a panoramic hatch in the roof.
Regarding the technical characteristics, the batch version of the novelty is likely to be equipped with a 104 horsepower Mivec engine, which will be paired with an inseparable CVT transmission.
