The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine is considering the possibility of stopping the payment of scholarships to Ukrainian students who are abroad. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Mykhailo Vynnytskyi announced this during the "Edyny Novyni" telethon. According to him, the President of Ukraine drew attention to the fact that students studying abroad continue to receive scholarships.
"This is one of the analyzes that we will now conduct, because we should not pay scholarships to those students who are abroad. They can continue to study, but without a scholarship," Vynnytskyi said.
According to him, such a step will save money and increase scholarships for those studying in Ukraine. The minister emphasized the need to support those students who remain in Ukraine and actively contribute to the country's development.
