The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has strengthened the hryvnia exchange rate on the dollar and the euro for the second day in a row. According to the regulator on Wednesday, November 20, official currency rates show a significant decline.
On November 21, the NBU set the following official courses:
- US dollar -UAH 41,2533 (-0,0777 UAH).
- Euro -43,5635 UAH (-0,1275 UAH).
This testifies to the continuation of the trend towards strengthening the hryvnia, which began at the beginning of the week.
In the interbank market today, November 20, the dollar fell by 4 pennies compared to the previous day:
- Buying - 41,23 UAH.
- Sale - 41.25 UAH.
The cash market also has a cheaper of the US currency. The dollar has decreased by 10 cents and is currently 41.60 UAH.
The stabilization of the hryvnia can be associated with positive macroeconomic signals, an increase in foreign exchange earnings and a decrease in voltage in the foreign exchange market. At the same time, the regulator continues to work actively to maintain course stability using monetary policy tools.
