Ukraine needs to transfer 25 Patriot air defense systems to protect cities from constant shelling by Russian forces.
"Ukraine requires 25 Patriot -type air defense systems that would protect our cities from enemy attacks," Yevlash emphasized.
He also noted that our military lacks other air defense products to protect the sky.
Yevlash also specified that the Armed Forces need portable complexes that use mobile fire groups.
Since the beginning of last month, Russian invaders have increased shelling of Ukraine. During these attacks, the enemy uses ballistic missiles.
Ukraine currently has only a few air defense systems that can destroy ballistic missiles. One of these systems is Patriot. Against the background of shelling growth, Ukrainian officials have repeatedly urged allies to transfer additional Patriot Air Defense systems.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba, Ukraine has found 100 free systems worldwide. However, at first our country seeks to get seven.
Such a number of Patriot systems will be able to protect the largest cities in Ukraine.
