President of Belarus Oleksandr Lukashenko has expressed anxiety about the possible involvement of his country into the war. According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy receives appropriate instructions from external forces.
"Why is Zelensky behave so much? We had a normal, good relationship. He is given a command to act in such a way as to involve our country into the war," - said Lukashenko, whose words are transmitted by the Belarusian State Agency of Belta.
Lukashenko stressed that the main priority for him is to keep peace in the country, because, according to him, war can be a serious test for Belarus.
"If we are drawn into war, it may become critical to us. We can not stand as a state. Therefore, I am patient, persistently, following the principles dictated by the Lord and the Church," the Belarusian leader added.
At the same time, Lukashenko compared the political systems of Belarus and Ukraine, stating that he considers the best situation in Belarus, even if it is criticized for "dictatorship".
"It is better to have such a dictatorship as in Belarus than such democracy as in Ukraine," he summed up.
