The French brand Renault is preparing to present the updated version of its popular Austral crossover. Compact SUV will get a more expressive design, upgraded engines and become fully electrified. The model is expected to go on sale in June 2025.
The renewed Renault Austral has received a new front that makes it look like a larger Renault rafale and an electric Scenic. The main changes in the exterior: a wider radiator grille - adds to the car sports. Thinner LED lanterns - give a more technological appearance. Recycled bumpers - emphasize the dynamic style of the model. Updated rear lights - improve aerodynamics and lighting. The Renault Austral interior has not yet been revealed, but there are no dramatic changes in the salon. It is possible to improve the decoration and updating of the multimedia system.
The main news - all versions of Austral 2025 will be electrified. This means better fuel efficiency and reduction of CO₂ emissions.
The line of power units includes: 1.2-liter gasoline turbo engine (48-volt "soft" hybrid) 140 or 160 hp, a similar engine is already used in the new Duster. The 200-horsepower E-Tech hybrid-unchanged, remains a top option. Front drive in all modifications.
The Renault Austral 2025 will go on sale in the summer of 2025, and detailed characteristics will be known closer to the date of debut.
