Palestinians reject the idea of introducing military Arab countries into Gaza

The Palestinians reject the idea of creating a multinational military force in the Gaza Strip involving various Arab countries to maintain order and protect humanitarian convoys, which has been proposed by Israel.

According to information provided by The Jerusalem Post on the database of the Al-Mayadeen network, "Palestinian factions" in Syria rejected this proposal, which provided for the creation of a multinational military force of Arab countries with the support of the United States.

The message states that "Arab countries, together with the United States, are trying to save the IDF (Israeli army) from the situation in which it found itself in Gaza. The Palestinian people have the right to choose their own leaders and institutions to govern the sector."

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant proposed the idea during his visit to Washington on March 28, where he also requested political and material support from the United States to implement the initiative.
