Peskov announced the introduction of a "special regime" for business in the Russian Federation

In the conditions of growing tensions in international relations and a "quasi-war" between Russia and the West, the Russian Kremlin warns Western companies that there will no longer be a "free exit" for companies from "unfriendly countries". Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, expressed this position at a briefing on October 31.

Russia continues to welcome investments by foreign companies and create "comfortable conditions for work." However, in view of the hostile actions of the West, including economic sanctions, it introduces a special regime for enterprises from "unfriendly countries". Peskov emphasized that this regime limits the freedom of action of companies, especially those that are under pressure from their governments.

New exit rules: The Kremlin spokesman also clarified that the issue of special exit conditions for Western companies from Russia is currently being discussed by a special government commission. It is assumed that the new exit rules may contain stricter requirements and controls, which may create additional barriers for companies that have decided to leave the Russian market.
