South Korea President Jun Jol Jol made an important statement, offering North Korea to start a new round of negotiations to reduce tensions on the Korean Peninsula and restore cooperation between the two countries. Yun Jeck Yol expressed his readiness to create an advisory body to discuss possible ways of interaction, in particular in the political and economic spheres, provided that the DPRK would take steps to denuclearization.
Yol stressed that he was ready to start political and economic cooperation if North Korea "takes only one step" to denuclearization.
We will begin political and economic cooperation as soon as North Korea takes at least one step towards denuclearization. Dialogue and cooperation can lead to significant progress in intercostal relationships
According to him, the launch of the "intercordic working group" can help relieve tensions and resolve any issues, from economic cooperation and ending with interpersonal exchanges and reunification of families, separated by the Korean war of 1950-53.
The USA, South Korea and Japan condemned the deepening of military cooperation between the DPRK and Russia, including the supply of weapons from the DPRK to the Russian Federation.
