Poland's Prime Minister offers electricity production for Ukraine in coal for European financing
During a joint press conference with the President of Ukraine, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk declared his country's readiness to produce electricity for Ukraine using its own coal. He stressed that this is possible if European financing and without liability for emissions.
Tusk also stressed that due to potential threats from Russia for Ukraine's energy facilities, Poland is actively working on plans to ensure stable power supply before winter.
The agreement between Ukraine and Poland also envisages the creation of a Ukrainian Legion in Poland, where citizens of Ukraine from Europe will be able to voluntarily enter, ready to participate in the defense of their country.
