With the help of Ukraine in the US, more than 400 specialists are monitored.
Interagency efforts in the United States to assist Ukraine are monitored by General Inspectors from the Ministry of Defense, the State Department and the United States Agency for International Development, CNN reports.
They work with 20 other federal agencies and the Ukrainian government. In total, more than 400 people operate in the US, Germany, Ukraine and other European countries on audit and assessment of US assistance to Ukraine.
Only in the Department of the General Inspector of the Ministry of Defense there are more than 200 employees engaged in supervision of Ukraine. Of these, 28 are in Europe, including two in Kiev. Another 80 people work on Ukraine in the USAID Supervision Department.
In addition, law enforcement officers of different agencies work with the Ukrainian authorities to investigate violations. The observation authorities have also created a working group for fraud and corruption investigation in Ukraine to identify and prevent corruption agreements. From the beginning of the war, these agencies launched 57 investigations and closed 14 of them, which resulted in two indictments, reported in the report.
