French football giant PSG officially announced the signing of Georgian winger Khvichi Kvaratskhelia. The 23-year-old footballer, who previously played for the Italian "Napoli", signed a contract with the Parisians until the summer of 2029.
According to the press service of the club, the amount of Kvaratzhelia's transfer amounted to 70 million euros, which PSG will pay to "Napoli" in three stages. In Paris, Kvaratskhelia became the first player from Georgia in the history of the club and received the seventh game number.
For the football player himself, this transition has also become financially beneficial. If in "Napoli" he earned 1.8 million euros a year after paying taxes, then in PSG his income will increase five times.
"One could only dream of being here. Heard a lot of very positive things about PSG. I am very proud to have joined this great club. I can't wait to wear my new colors," said Kvaratzhelia during the presentation.
Hviča Kvaratshelija became one of the brightest stars of European football after moving to Napoli in 2022. As part of the Italian club, he won the championship title in Serie A, making a significant contribution to the team's triumph. His technique, speed and performance attracted the attention of many top clubs, but it was PSG who were able to secure the transfer of the Georgian star.
