The hottest areas of the front remain in the center of attention of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny

On November 13, 2023, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, held a telephone conversation with the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Charles Brown, during which he discussed the situation on the Ukrainian front in detail.

According to Zaluzhnyi, the most difficult and hot situation was recorded in the Avdiyiv, Kupian and Marin areas. Although the situation is difficult, the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintain control and continue to conduct offensive actions, causing significant losses in manpower and equipment to the enemy.

The Ukrainian general also emphasized the urgent needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in particular, in shells, air defense equipment and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Plans for the winter period were discussed, as well as the issue of training military personnel and restoring the units' combat capability.

According to the data provided by the general, 50 combat clashes on the front have been recorded in recent days. The armed forces of Ukraine continue to eliminate the occupiers, and 800 enemy fighters were destroyed just last day. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine is 312,550 soldiers.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces called on the attention of the international community to further support Ukraine in containing Russian aggression and providing the necessary resources for the country's armed forces. The situation in the east and south of Ukraine remains difficult, but the defined measures are intended to ensure the security and sovereignty of Ukraine.
