Recently, Russia has been drawing massive blows on Ukrainian energy infrastructure. President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, made his comments on these attacks.
"Unfortunately, we have watched a series of blows to our energy facilities lately and were forced to respond," he said during a meeting with self -proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko.
Putin also expressed the sums aimed at the Ukrainian population, noting that Russia did not attack Ukrainian energy in the winter for humanitarian reasons. However, after blows on Russian energy objects, Russia was forced to answer.
Putin claims that Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy are part of the process of "demilitarization" and influence the defense-industrial complex of Ukraine.
In recent weeks, Russia has systematically destroying critical Ukrainian infrastructure. The Dnieper hydroelectric power station was struck, Kharkiv TPP-5 and other facilities were destroyed.
