The IMF forecast is "humiliating" for the West - Russia will grow faster than other developed economies of the world

In 2024, the Russian economy will grow faster than other countries with developed economies, CNBC claims, referring to the updated forecast of the International Monetary Fund. According to new data, this year the growth of the Russian economy will be 3.2%, which exceeds the forecast growth rates for the United States (2.7%), Great Britain (0.5%), Germany (0.2%) and France (0 .7%).

According to the publication, such a forecast is "humiliating" for Western countries, which seek to economically isolate and punish Russia for the conflict in Ukraine. However, in two years, Western sanctions have only made Moscow more self-sufficient, the continued export of oil and raw materials allows it to maintain high revenues from trade, and the Russian military-industrial complex has only expanded during the hostilities, notes CNBC.
