Robert Fitso accuses the West of prolonging the war in Ukraine

Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo expressed a sharp criticism against Western countries, accusing them of delaying war in Ukraine. In his opinion, the West lacks the desire for peaceful settlement of the conflict, and instead he tries to "put the Russians on his knees" and thus supports the "murder of the Slavs".

According to Fitzo, the present war is "a military conflict where the Slavs are actually killing and Europe supports this murder."

He added that Ukraine's reception in NATO, but not against admission to the European Union.

Fitzo also stated that in 2025 he wanted to visit Moscow on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. He called "not to suffer from Russophobia", explaining that he wanted to "thank the liberators", because "freedom to Slovakia came from the East."
