Russian invaders plan to attack the city of Yar times in Donetsk region for several reasons, including political motives. This was stated by Oleg Kalashnikov, the head of the press service of the 26th Artillery Brigade named after Dashkevich.
According to him, the invaders hope to bring "victory" to Vladimir Putin before the elections in the Bakhmut direction.
"The second reason is that the time of the ravine is a fortified town that acts as a gate to Kramatorsk-Slavic agglomeration. Control over it would allow invaders to control these two large cities and adjacent settlements. Hlyshchiyivka and Andreevka, ”Kalashnikov said.
According to him, Russian troops try to attack Ukrainian positions throughout the front line. Fighting continues in the districts of Bogdanivka, Ivanivsky, Hlyshchiyivka, Andreevka and Chromov.
In total, in the Bakhmut direction, Russia has collected a group of about 70,000 soldiers.
