According to an investigation by the Russian publication "Project", Ramzan Kadyrov, the aide of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has a harem in which underage girls are kept. In addition to his official marriage with Medna Kadyrova, known as "don-don", he has other wives. He often uses Islamic law to perform nikahs, a traditional mullah-sanctioned marriage, with his accomplices. In addition, Kadyrov has many concubines, mostly minors.
According to the source of the mentioned publication, there are many girls in Chechnya who live with the marker of Kadyrov's concubines and because of this cannot leave the harem.
The investigation also notes that there is some awareness of Kadyrov's harem among ordinary Chechens. For example, in 2013, Tamila Sagaipova's song "My Nanak" caused widespread discussion in Chechnya. The song, which mixes Chechen, Russian and local slang, mentions Kadyrov's many concubines, using a slightly altered pet name of the regional head, which is used by his children.
According to the media, Tamila Sagaipova herself was also in Ramzan Kadyrov's harem.
In a recent investigation, it is stated that Ramzan Kadyrov takes children from his concubines, with whom he cannot enter into an official marriage. Kadyrov's propaganda claims that the official wife of the "don-don" Medna bore him 14 children before she was 42 years old.
"This, of course, is not true. The fact is that Kadyrov simply takes children from his concubines, with whom he cannot officially marry," the investigation states.
Journalists report that Ramzan Kadyrov's children are aware of their origins.
Kadyrov's second-eldest son, 17-year-old Eli Kadyrov, known as the president of the Chechen Boxing Federation and the director of the Akhmat sports club, is actually the son of Fatima Khazuyeva.
Fatima is also the mother of three more children of Kadyrov: daughters Ashur and twins, who were born in 2015.
"I once witnessed a family drama: Fatima came to Ramzan's house and wanted to hug one of her children, but the father strictly forbade it," the source told the publication.
In 2006, when she was just 14 years old, Fatima Khazuyeva became Kadyrov's concubine and later bore him several children, including one aged 15.
The investigation indicates that the only beauty contest in Chechnya in the spring of 2006 was, in fact, organized personally for Ramzan Kadyrov and was held without the participation of outside spectators.
"It was disguised as a concern for morality, but in fact the reason was simple — Ramzan organized the show specifically for his wives," the journalists claim.
"Kadyrov prefers virgin young girls — schoolgirls or first-year students. He has an assistant who keeps in touch with many young Chechen women. This may concern dozens, or even hundreds," said an acquaintance of Ramzana Kadyrova on condition of anonymity.
According to another source, when Ramzan Kadyrov first came to power in Chechnya, his supporters "took girls at will."
"Men associated with Kadyrov could choose attractive young Chechen women right on the streets or on the way to educational institutions. Kadyrov forbade some of his concubines to even think about becoming pregnant by him. Failure to comply with the order will result in serious consequences," the investigation says.
Zhanetta Mukuyeva, the same age as Ramzan Kadyrov, with whom he had known since his youth and was believed to be in love with her, married another Chechen. In the early 2000s, the couple divorced, leaving Jeanette with a young daughter. After her divorce, "don-don" began a relationship with Mukueva, which led to a tragic end.
On September 26, 2003, Zhanetta Mukueva was shot dead by unknown assailants on Gudermesu Street. Two people close to Kadyrov believe that "don-don" himself ordered to kill her due to some misunderstandings. She was probably pregnant at the time of her death.
They receive real estate and positions in Chechen authorities. Often the daughters and other blood relatives of Ramzan Kadyrov work alongside his secret wives.
"For some time they all lived in one of the new apartment buildings in the center of Grozny. Later, many of them got expensive mansions in the most protected area of the capital of Chechnya, not far from Ramzan Kadyrov's residence," reports "Project".
Journalists claim that Adam Kadyrov, known for his awards and medals, who is being held in a pre-trial detention center for beating the imprisoned Crimean Nikita Zhuravel in 2008, became the father of another concubine of Ramzan Kadyrov, Zamira Jabrailova. She was 15.5 years old at the time of birth.
Although Adam Kadyrov is presented as the son of the official wife of a "don-don", the boy himself knows the truth. Journalists note that this circumstance can contribute to the teenager's cruelty. In 2022, two people close to Adam Kadyrov died under strange circumstances.
"The first is Abdulkerim Edilov, a professional MMA fighter who trained Kadyrov's sons and took the post of deputy prime minister of Chechnya. In November 2022, the athlete disappeared from sight, and the Chechen media reported that he resigned of his own free will. A few weeks later, he died at the age of 31," the investigation states.
The second person close to Adam Kadyrov, who died suddenly, was his bodyguard Murat Agmerzoyev, known as "Bars".
According to the publication's sources, "Kadyrov decided to punish" Agmerzoyev and Edilov due to some circumstances "that disgrace Kadyrov's family."
"Some claimed that Edilov and Agmerzoev allegedly clashed with Adam Kadyrov because of his addiction to drugs, which could be the cause of a serious car accident in which random people died. Others discussed the version of a homosexual relationship between the guards and Kadyrov's son. Both of these claims cannot be verified," the investigation added.
