One of the most pressing issues was her attitude towards the Odward Snowden's AB. Previously, she advocated his pardon, but at the hearing changed her position.
Gabbard has an ambiguous reputation. It is known for its contacts with the Syrian dictator Bashar Assad, the criticism of the liquidation of Iranian General Kasma Suleimani and skeptical statements on Ukraine support. In particular, it compared the help of the United States in Kiev with the war in Afghanistan. Gabbard also spread conspiracy theories, arguing that in Ukraine there are US -funded biolaboratories that can cause global epidemics.
