The United States has warned that the coming months will be very difficult for Ukraine

According to the Coordinator of the White House National Security Council, John Kirby, the US Congress needs to make a decision to support Ukraine.

He noted that the coming months will be critical for Ukraine's protection, and the fighting that will take place in its territory are of great importance for its safety.

Kirby stressed that the Russian military forces continue to attack Ukraine through drones and missiles. He noted that the Ukrainian military has to make difficult decisions on the choice of weapons and ammunition because of limited reserves.

At the same time, Russia continues to receive external support from Iran and North Korea, including the supply of ballistic missiles. Kirby also reported that the Russian side had established its own production of drones and other military systems.

Kirby stressed that the US administration intends to support Ukraine and reminded President Joe Biden's clear obligation to ensure the success and independence of Ukraine with restored borders and full sovereignty. He also noted that the US seeks to continue to provide Ukraine with the necessary support to achieve these goals.

On January 20, the speaker of the House of Representatives of the US Congress, Mike Johnson, stated that Ukraine did not receive invited weapons from the United States for hostilities. He stressed that the White House must first fulfill its previous obligations before asking for new billions of dollars to help Ukrainian troops. Republicans expect answers from the Presidential Administration.
