Starlink, which is owned by SpaceX and is engaged in the deployment of a global satellite Internet network, has issued a warning about possible "deterioration in the quality of service" due to the strongest magnetic storm, according to Reuters.
The Earth is experiencing the strongest geomagnetic storm in the last two decades due to solar activity, Elon Musk's company said.
The businessman himself has already stated that the Starlink satellites are under severe pressure due to a geomagnetic storm, but for now they are doing their job.
US authorities have already warned that the storm, which is the strongest since 2003, will continue tomorrow, posing a threat to navigation systems, power grids and satellite navigation.
