The latest results of a survey conducted by the Razumkov Center revealed interesting trends in the attitude of Ukrainian society to evasion of military service. The survey data provokes important discussions and reflects the diversity of views among different population groups.
Almost half of the surveyed Ukrainians (46.1%) said that there is no shame in being a dodger, according to the survey data of the Razumkov Center.
29.1% consider it shameful to evade military service, 24.8% find it difficult to answer.
By region: more support for evaders in the south (60%) and west (48%).
By age: the elderly (over 60 years old) condemn evaders the most - 37%. People of pre-retirement age (50-59 years) - 52% and young people (18-29 years) - 50% believe that it is not a shame to be a dodger.
