Currently, about 340-350 people's deputies of the total number of 399 are constantly present in the session hall of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
According to the speaker, these figures are confirmed by the results of the unifying votes when it comes to key decisions. These are national security, European integration laws, and important political statements that are consistently receiving more than 300 support.
"This is a historically minimal figure of the number of people's deputies. But all here, from the first day of a full -scale invasion, from February 24, from 7 o'clock 30 minutes, and the first decisions we voted at 8 hours 8 minutes," - reminded Stefanchuk.
The speaker emphasized that, despite the loss of part of the majority from the temporarily occupied territories of Donbass and Crimea, as well as the disappearance of some deputies or the opening of criminal proceedings against them, the Verkhovna Rada remains a fully capable body.
Today, according to Stefanchuk, only one statement on the early drafting of the mandate - from the deputy of the "servant of the people" Anna Kolesnik - has been received to the Parliament. "I have no other applications for termination of authority," he added.
