Tallinn is strengthening its military potential and increasing NATO's presence in the region

Recently, Estonia has been focusing on strengthening its defense against the Russian threat, according to the Spanish publication El País. This Baltic country, a member of the European Union and NATO, is actively responding to potential challenges from Moscow by increasing its military capabilities and cooperating with its European Union and NATO allies.

As the Spanish publication writes, this Baltic country is one of the members of the European Union most determined to fight against Moscow. Tallinn is currently strengthening its military capabilities, while NATO is increasing its presence in the region.

Near the settlement of Luhamaa, Estonia is building a strong border fence, which will be equipped with cameras, sensors and radars. In addition to the construction of the fence, which will be completed next year, it is also planned to create a network of 60 bunkers along the 300-kilometer border with Russia.

In late May, Norway, Finland, Poland and the three Baltic states agreed to create a coordinated system of drones along their eastern borders.

The article notes that there are already American, British and French soldiers in Estonia.

Estonian colonel Mati Tikerpuu expressed confidence that his country would be able to withstand a possible invasion for several weeks, which "will be enough for the arrival of allied reinforcements."
