The National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Energy and Utilities (NERCEP) has approved the Project of the Resolution to increase the tariff of NEC “Ukrenergo” for electricity transfer from January 1, 2025. According to the document, the tariff will be increased by 25.9% to UAH 665.26 per MWh. The decision was made at the meeting of the regulator on November 13.
The total cost of covering PSO to increase the share of electricity production from renewable sources in the tariff structure for 2025 is provided at UAH 30.7 billion. This takes into account the growth of alternative energy, including private households.
At the same time, the tariff for the dispatching department is planned to be reduced by 9.1%-to 95.07 UAH/MWh, while the pre-proposed calculation of NEC "Ukrenergo" was 780.41 UAH/MWh for transfer and 104.7 UAH/MWh for dispatching.
