According to the results of January-November 2024, Ukraine reached an important economic milestone — the country's turnover amounted to 101.9 billion US dollars. This was reported by the State Customs Service of Ukraine on Monday, December 9.
During this period, Ukraine imported goods worth 63.6 billion dollars, and exported 38.3 billion dollars. It is noted that taxed imports reached 52.1 billion dollars, which is 82% of the total volume of goods imports.
In January-November 2024, the tax burden on 1 kg of taxed imports was 0.51 dollars/kg, which is 4% more compared to the same period in 2023.
China (13 billion dollars), Poland (6.3 billion dollars) and Germany (4.8 billion dollars) remain among the main suppliers of goods for Ukraine. Most Ukrainian goods were exported to Poland ($4.4 billion), Spain ($2.7 billion) and Germany ($2.7 billion).
The main groups of goods imported into Ukraine were machines, equipment and transport — 65% of total imports ($22.2 billion). In second place are products of the chemical industry ($10.7 billion), and in third place are fuel and energy materials ($8.2 billion).
The customs budget received significant funding from these goods: 155.5 billion hryvnias from machinery and equipment (29% of total customs revenues), 79.6 billion hryvnias from chemical goods (15%), as well as 142.3 billion hryvnias from fuel -energy materials (27%).
