The world's tallest vertical vegetable farm has opened in China

Chinese scientists have launched the world's highest vertical farm, located on 20 floors in the Sichuan province, responding to the call of President Si Jinpin to strengthen food security through technological innovation.

This initiative is a response to China's strategic task to ensure stable food supply for its 1.4 billion population in geopolitical instability, which can affect imports and supply chains.

Vertical farms, already successfully implemented in Japan, Singapore and the United States, are effective agricultural systems capable of producing food throughout the year in multi -storey buildings. This technology allows you to grow food in all conditions, including urban regions and deserts, providing stable and reliable food supply in areas where traditional agriculture is not efficient enough.
