The world's second GovTech center is opening in Kyiv

The world's second GovTech center (Center for Global Government Technologies) will open in Kyiv under the auspices of the World Economic Forum.

At the Diia in Zurich summit, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, Director of the World Economic Forum Mirek Dušek and President of the Eastern Europe Foundation Viktor Liakh signed a memorandum on the opening of the Global Government Technology Center Kyiv.

The center will become a platform for cooperation between the public and private sectors, promoting the development of digital technologies and innovations. It will bring together academics, business people, technology companies, the public sector and the global government technology community. The Center will be administered and operated by the Eastern Europe Foundation.

The first such center is already operating in Berlin, Germany.

The Ukrainian Center will participate in the work of the World Economic Forum, where Ukrainian startups and innovators will exchange best govtech practices and digital experience with foreign partners, develop joint projects and accelerate digital reforms.

This project will also focus on training the next generation of leaders in digital reforms, for which the CDTO Campus will continue to develop.

"The center in Ukraine will contribute to our global efforts aimed at unlocking the significant potential of digital technologies to improve public services and create new opportunities. The center will become a catalyst for cooperation between the public and private sectors, which will contribute to the development of digital technologies and innovations at such a critical time for Ukraine and Europe", - emphasized the director of the World Economic Forum, Mirek Duszek.
