The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced the creation of an adaptive suit developed together with Ukrainian manufacturers and volunteers. This innovative clothing is designed to facilitate the work of medical personnel during the treatment of wounded soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, providing convenience in the medical care process.
The adaptive suit is equipped with special Velcro and is available in different sizes that take into account the physiological characteristics of men and women. It includes shorts and a tank top as a base layer, as well as a sweatshirt (short and long sleeves) and pants. The clothes are made in neutral colors with a loose cut, which ensures comfort during wearing.
The main goal of this project is to make it easier for Ukrainian military personnel to carry and receive medical procedures during military operations. The military command, together with medical experts and volunteers, actively worked on the development of this special clothing, which allows the effective use of Ilizarov's apparatus for the treatment of the wounded.
Currently, several options of adaptive clothing are being developed by various Ukrainian manufacturers and will soon be subjected to practical tests in real conditions.
Simultaneously with these initiatives, the Ukrainian authorities are planning to update the military registration data for women with medical education and introduce innovations in the allocation of financial assistance to military personnel who have become victims or were injured in combat.
