For the first time in Ukraine, centralized purchase of donor leather for medical facilities. This initiative should be a rescue solution for patients with serious burns and large -scale injuries where your own skin is impossible.
Allotransplantate is a temporary donor transplant that closes damaged areas of human skin. It is used in cases of severe burns, large -scale injuries, as well as in massive injuries caused by infections and post -traumatic wounds.
One of the key advantages of allogrants is that they do not require individual donor and recipient selection. After special treatment and canning, the biomaterial does not cause a sharp immune response, which makes it universal for patients.
Donor skin was distributed between six hospitals in different areas of the country. In particular, medical institutions of Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv and Vinnytsia regions have already received the first parties of transplants.
"At the beginning of December, the first supply of skin allogrants to healthcare facilities has already taken place, where they will be a rescue solution for patients with severe injuries," the official report reported.
Centralized purchase of donor skin allows to effectively help patients in critical condition and significantly improve the standards of treatment of burns and large -scale damage. Such a step is not only the development of medicine in Ukraine, but also the rescue of many lives.
