Ukraine increases the volume of medical partnership with Japan in the field of disaster medicine. The authorities plan to expand cooperation with the Japanese Government Agency of International Cooperation (JICA) in order to exchange experience and develop an effective medical response system during emergencies.
The concept of "golden hour" in the field of catastrophe medicine is of great importance, since ambulance at the scene can save life, stabilize the victims and reduce the risk of complications. New standards allow you to involve healthcare professionals immediately during a disaster that provides effective assistance.
Disaster medicine in Japan already has effective protocols and standards for emergency response. The Government of Ukraine seeks to use this experience to modernize its own medical system, especially in the conditions of potential dangers related to military threats.
As part of a working visit to Japan, the delegation visited various facilities, including the Center for Medicine and Catastrophes, Hospitals and Emergency Training. Representatives of Ukraine plan to use this experience to actively develop the medical response system to emergencies in accordance with world standards.
