Ukraine and France have taken an important step to facilitate the lives of Ukrainians living in France, signing a declaration on the exchange of driver's license without the need to re -pass the exams. This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmigal following the results of his working visit to Paris on June 4.
Thanks to this agreement, Ukrainians who are in France will be able to exchange their Ukrainian driver's licenses for French without additional tests. This will greatly simplify their lives and avoid unnecessary bureaucratic procedures.
In addition, a cooperation program was signed between the Secretariat of the Government of Ukraine and France, which provides for the exchange of experience, information and expert assistance to Ukraine in the negotiation process on the way to the European Union. Such cooperation will contribute to the deepening of bilateral relations and maintaining European integration processes.
A separate agreement was made that will expand the opportunities for Ukrainian students, students and teachers in the study of French in Ukrainian schools and universities. This will create additional educational prospects and help young people to better adapt to the European educational space.
An important cultural initiative will be to hold the Voyage En Ukraine (trip to Ukraine) in France. From December 2025 to March 2026, a number of measures dedicated to the promotion of Ukrainian culture will take place in different cities of the country, which will help to strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.
Thus, agreements between Ukraine and France open up new opportunities in the field of education, culture and daily lives for Ukrainians in France, and support Ukraine's further integration into the European space.
