The Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine (CZR) has warned citizens from traveling to the Middle East through the escalation of hostilities between Israel and Hamas Group. It became known on March 20 from the official notice of the department.
Due to the restoration of military operations in Israel, in particular in the Gaza, Lebanon, and southern Syria, Ukrainians are urging to refrain from traveling to these regions. Particularly dangerous are Israel, Syria, Lebanon and other countries where hostilities or terrorist attacks are possible.
"For safety reasons, the Office does not recommend Ukrainians to visit the Gaza, Israel, Syria, Lebanon and other countries of the region before the end of active fighting," the NPR said.
According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel, Hideoon Saar, the military operation "Power and Sword" will be long -lasting. Israel struck the Air Force in the Gaza, Lebanon and South Syria sector on March 18, after which on March 9, the start of the ground operation in the Gaza Sector was confirmed.
According to Saar, the Israeli Defense Army continues to advance to the center of the corridor unziping, strikes at Hamas objects in the Gaza sector. The Times of Israel reports that strokes are aimed mainly at Hamas group objects located in the region.
Ukrainian citizens who are already at high risk should be careful and monitor the official reports of Ukrainian diplomatic missions in the Middle East.
