The new government plans to change the leadership of the Ministry of Energy. According to Ukrainian Truth with reference to sources in the government, parliament and among the players of the energy market, the current Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko will leave his position. It is called Svetlana Grinchuk, who is currently headed by the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources.
The decision to change the Minister of Energy, according to sources, has already been made. Hrynchuk previously worked at the Ministry of Energy as Deputy Herman Galushchenko, where she was responsible for the international direction. Its main specialization is related to environmental policy, but it has no experience in the technical aspects of energy.
At the same time, Herman Galushchenko himself can remain in the government - he is currently being considered another position. In particular, the deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reports that the incident may be appointed by the head of the Ministry of Justice.
There was no official confirmation or refutation of this information. The final personnel decisions are expected to be made in the near future as a renewal of the Cabinet of Ministers.
