More than ten US officials who participated in criminal investigations against Donald Trump have been released. The US Prosecutor General's Office expressed distrust of these officials, as reported by CNN .
The letter of duties of US Prosecutor General James McGenri states that officials "cannot be trusted" because of their participation in investigations against Trump's expression.
These release occurred at a time when the Trump administration increases the control of the legal system. One of the priorities of the administration is to revise the actions of prosecutors who investigated the assault on January 6, 2021.
Acting Prosecutor Washington Ed Martin began investigations into officials who have charged the riots under Article 1512 (C) of the US Code. Some of these charges were canceled by the Supreme Court last year.
Donald Trump himself stated earlier that he would seek "retribution" about those who participated in investigations against him. It was one of the key points of his election campaign.
