Another case of mumps disease (better known as "pig") was recorded in N.P. Zarichne (northwest of Ukraine).
"Experts carry out anti -epidemic measures in the fires, established a circle of contact, studied their vaccine status, gave recommendations on the organization of anti -epidemic measures in order to localize and prevent the spread of the disease," - said in the statement of the State Security Service of Ukraine.
The main reason for the spread of the disease among Ukrainian children is the lack of vaccination, as well as the actual destruction of medicine.
Reference: mumps ("pig".) Often occur in children aged 5-15 years. It is a viral infection characterized by painful swelling of one or two parotid glands. The disease is especially dangerous for its complications. The virus can cause meningitis, encephalitis and deafness, and boys in the future can lead to infertility.
