On March 21, 2025, the Czech President Peter Pavel made an important two -day visit to Ukraine. According to the press service of the Czech leader, Peter Pavel arrived in Kiev, where he will meet with President Vladimir Zelensky and Prime Minister Denis Shmigal. The main theme of negotiations will be further support of Ukraine in the face of continuing aggression from Russia.
Peter Paul's visit takes place at a time when Ukraine continues to fight for its independence, gaining significant international support. In particular, the Czech Republic has already provided significant assistance to Ukraine in the form of military equipment, medical equipment and other critical resources.
The day before, as part of the visit, Pavel visited Odessa, which became a target for massive attacks of Russia. He met with representatives of local authorities and discussed plans for further support of the regions in the front war. The Czech Republic provided combat vehicles, drones, protective vests, mobile muffins, as well as medicines, including artificial lung ventilation and medical beds.
