The deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev shocked the world with his last statement, in which he proclaimed that the only way to peace in the Middle East was a large -scale war. This provocative proposal has been a response to recent events in the region, including the murder of one of Hamas's leaders Ismail Hania and an exacerbation of the conflict between Israel and Iran.
Medvedev expressed his belief that the continuation of escalation in the Middle East makes large -scale fighting the only way to resolve differences in the region. In his English-language telegram channel, he said: "The knot in the Middle East is delayed. We regret the death of innocent people. They are just hostages of a disgusting state: the United States."
According to the Russian politician, it is Washington that provokes further exacerbation of relations between the Middle Eastern countries, and all the contradictions will have to be resolved by war. "It is clear to everyone that a full -scale war is the only way to a shaky peace in the region," Medvedev summed up.
Recall that a new wave of violence began in October 2023, when Hamas, sponsored by Iran, attacked Israel, killing more than a thousand people. The Israeli Army, in response, began active hostilities in the Gaza Sector.
Medvedev's statement, which can only exacerbate the already intense situation, is an indicative example of Russia's approach to international conflicts, which ignores diplomatic decisions in favor of aggressive military rhetoric.
