The Canadian Ministry of Defense has declared a willingness to send the military to Ukraine, but not to participate in hostilities.
In an interview with Toronto Star, the head of Bill Blair said that a limited contingent of Canadians could teach Ukrainian soldiers in Ukraine far from the front line.
It is noted that the Security Agreement between Canada and Ukraine, signed on weekends, stipulates that Canada can carry out educational activities in Ukraine, "when the conditions are allowed".
At the same time, Blair answered the question of sending troops to Ukraine negatively. That Canada “will continue to provide military assistance that Ukraine needs, but as a member of NATO, does not intend to place combat troops in Ukraine.”
