Western troops are already on the territory of Ukraine

In light of the escalation of the conflict in eastern Ukraine and rising tensions in the region, some Western countries have taken decisive steps by sending their military to Ukrainian territory to train soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was announced by the Prime Minister of Estonia, Kaja Kallas, in her interview with the Financial Times, emphasizing the risks and responsibilities that this entails.

She believes that the defeat of foreign soldiers by Russia will not lead to the automatic triggering of paragraph 5 of the NATO article on mutual defense.

"I can't imagine that if someone gets hurt there, those who sent their people will say: 'This is Article 5. Let's ... bomb Russia.' It does not. This is not automatic. So these fears are unfounded," Kallas said.

She believes that the West should not be afraid of sending its troops to Ukraine, but it should be remembered that "there is a war in the country, and you fall into the risk zone."

We will remind you that the majority of Western countries are against sending troops to Ukraine.
