President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his impression on the statement of the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny that the war was in the Deaf Kuta. According to Zelensky, although there are challenges, Ukraine is successful in combat, in particular in the Black Sea.
"Every day I think we are successful. In Crimea we have succeeded in the Black Sea. We really destroyed part of the Russian fleet ... They have no such total impact in the Black Sea region," Zelensky said during an interview for the American edition of Fox News.
According to the President, the military actions of Ukraine led to the destruction of part of the Black Sea Fleet of Russia, which indicates gradual progress in conducting military operations. He noted that Russia's influence in the Black Sea region is decreasing and they do not have such total control as before.
It should be noted that Zaluzhny in the article for The Economist expressed the opinion that the war was in a "deaf corner", and the hopes of Russia's exhaustion were erroneous. Zelensky believes that although challenges exist, Ukraine is achieving some success in controlling the situation in the region.
