The funeral of the Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny will take place on Friday, March 1, in Moscow, said the pressecretic of politician Kira Yarmysh.

FBK Director Ivan Zhdanov on Telegram revealed that they initially planned farewell and funeral on Thursday, February 29, but due to the lack of people who could dig the grave, the date was changed to March 1.
The conclusion of the contract for farewells did not happen, and Zhdanov stated that there would be no hall.
Navalny associates reported difficulties with the organization of farewell, unable to find a room.
