How to get a deferment from mobilization in 2025

In 2025, in accordance with Article 23 of the Law of Ukraine "On Mobilization Training and Mobilization", a number of citizens may exercise the right to defer from mobilization in martial law and general mobilization. This right is not granted to all, but only those who meet certain criteria. In particular, deferral can be provided in various social, health and family circumstances. In the article, we will look at who is entitled to a deferral in 2025 and what documents should be submitted for its design.

Persons working in public authorities, local self -government bodies or enterprises recognized as critical to the economy of the country or the Armed Forces of Ukraine may be delayed. If a person is temporarily unsuitable for military service on the opinion of the Military Medical Commission (6 to 12 months), he or she can count on a deferral. Delay may be obtained by men who have three or more children under 18 years of age or those who have their own raising a child in the event of death, deprivation of parental rights or other circumstances that require a child's care. Considers who have disabilities I, II or III groups, as well as those who hold close relatives with disabilities can claim a deferral. This also applies to persons who care for seriously ill relatives in need of constant care. The deferral is given to those who are a guardian or guardian of a child with a disability or independently educates a child-orphaned child or a child deprived of parental care. Full -level students or dual education students, as well as researchers, higher education teachers can get a delay from mobilization. Persons whose close relatives have died or missing as a result of hostilities, anti -terrorist operations or other national security measures may be delayed.

In order to get a deferral from mobilization, the conscript must apply to the district shopping center and the JV (territorial center of acquisition and social support) at the place of residence. Here are the main steps to design: a person must personally apply to why he or she needs a deferral. The application is submitted in writing. Documents confirming the grounds for deferral must be added to the application. These can be medical certificates, birth certificates, disability documents, etc. All documents must be notarized. After collecting documents, they should be submitted to the CCC and JV at the place of residence. Upon submission of the application and documents, the Territorial Center of Acquisition makes a decision to provide a deferral that will be transferred to the applicant.

Therefore, in 2025, the right to defer from mobilization can be obtained by different categories of citizens, including those who have children, sick relatives, as well as persons with disabilities or temporary unsuitable service. It is important that all the necessary documents are submitted on time and properly. Mobilization delay is an important protection for those who need special conditions for their duties.
