At the meeting on November 16, the National Commission for State Regulation in the Fields of Energy and Utilities (NERCEP) made a decision to raise the tariffs of NEC “Ukrenergo” for electricity transmission services. From January 1, 2024, the tariff will increase by 22.2%, to 592.89 UAH/MWh.
According to Ukrenergo, it is planned that the tariff for transmission services in 2024 will be 785.44 UAH/MWh. However, according to an alternative calculation that takes into account the dynamics of pricing in the market, the tariff can be 709.84 UAH/MWh or 619.84 UAH/MWh.
The regulator also provides an increase in the tariff for dispatching management by 5%-up to 100.37 UAH/MWh since the beginning of 2024. The cost of covering the support of electricity production from alternative sources in the tariff structure for transfer will amount to UAH 17.8 million.
These steps are aimed at ensuring the stability of the energy sector and the development of electricity production using alternative sources.
