In his video, President Zelensky announced the need to strengthen and accelerate the construction of fortifications in different directions, in particular in Volyn.
The President emphasized the importance of the second national fortification meeting, which considered the main directions for strengthening and accelerating the construction of defense structures. Particular attention was paid to the directions in Donetsk region, including Avdiivsky and Marinsky, as well as Kupyansk in Kharkiv region, including Kupyansk defensive line. It is noted that this plan also includes Kharkiv, Sumy, Chernihiv, Kyiv region, Rivne region and Volyn, as well as the south - Kherson region.
Zelensky also spoke about holding important meetings in Zaporozhye, including operational meetings with military and generals, such as Tarnavsky, Mosklev, Litvinov, responsible for defense in the region. These meetings also received reports from the authorities of the regions, military leaders and the Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov and General Alexander Pavlyuk.
