President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has defined a condition that he considers just negotiations with Russia. According to him, the main condition is the return of Russian troops to the line at which they were at the time of the beginning of a full -scale invasion.
Zelensky noted that negotiations can be both fair and unfair, and much depends on who Ukraine is conducting these negotiations. The President stressed that fair negotiations are possible only if Russia returns to the positions from which aggression has begun. In his opinion, this would be an adequate basis for dialogue.
The President also added that allies of Ukraine, including the US, EU and other international partners, play an important role in determining the fairness of negotiations. The question is whether Ukraine will be on its own, as it was in the Normandy format, whether it will act with the allies. Zelensky emphasized that cooperation with other states will determine the validity of future negotiations.
