The Armed Forces of Ukraine is introducing a separate medical unit to improve frontline care

In the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a new separate medical unit will soon appear, which aims to significantly improve the efficiency of medical care directly in the war zone. The idea of this initiative was supported by the Commander -in -Chief of the Armed Forces, General Alexander Sirsky.

The medical service of the International Legion of the Armed Forces reported that this initiative was developed in detail and received support among the Higher Military Command. "Our goal is to create a separate medical unit that will organize our experience organizationally and improve medical care in the war zone," the medical service said. The idea of creating such a unit was discussed not only at internal meetings, but also at public events, conferences and in circles of the highest military command. In particular, at the meeting with the Armed Forces Commissioner, the concept of a separate medical unit that received approval was presented. According to the military, this initiative aims not only to improve medical conditions on the forefront, but also to provide more prompt and highly qualified assistance to the wounded. The military who participate in the development of this unit are convinced that over time, their work will bring even more positive results for medical care of the military.

An important aspect is that the ban on the transfer of medical workers to military positions not related to the medical service was introduced in December last year by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky. This decision was aimed at preserving qualified medical personnel within the medical service of the Armed Forces.

Meanwhile, as previously reported, the Armed Forces General Staff had attempts to transfer part of the medical staff of military hospitals to other military positions. However, thanks to the ban on the transfer of doctors, this process was suspended.
