Since the beginning of 2025, prices for auto gas in Ukraine have increased by an average of 65 cents per liter, reaching the level of 36.03 UAH/l. According to ENKORR , with reference to the monitoring of the consulting group "A-95", the main reason for the growth was the increase in excise rates from January 1.
KLO gas stations - an average of UAH 1.3 per liter, reaching 37.99 UAH/l. This is almost equal to the prices of premium networks, such as OKCO , WOG and SOCAR , which increased the cost by 1 UAH/l.
Other networks have also significantly increased prices:
- UPG added more than 1.2 UAH/l.
- Bvs , Mango , Autant 7 , Olas and Catral - on average 1 UAH/l.
- The rest of the operators ranged from 20 to 90 cents.
The lowest prices for autogas are recorded in the BRSM-Nafta in the Nikolaev area-32.29 UAH/l (+10 cents from December 31). In the Zhytomyr region, the Marshal set a price at 32.39 UAH/l (+1 UAH from the beginning of the year).
The main factor in the rise in price of the car was the increase in excise duty, which increased the cost by 1.3 UAH per liter. At the same time, prices were influenced by other factors:
- Increasing purchase prices from foreign suppliers.
- Fluctuations in the exchange rate, which is reflected on the import of fuel.
Experts predict that a rise in price of a car can lead to a decrease in demand for it, especially among private consumers. At the same time, premium networks that retain higher quality standards can keep their customers even with high prices.
The fuel market is expected to stabilize within a few months after the adaptation of suppliers and consumers to new excise rates.
