Dalai Lama is preparing to announce a decision on his successor

The spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism, Dalai Lama Tenzin Giatso, who will soon celebrate his 90th anniversary, plans to declare an important decision as to whether he has a successor. This was reported by the Tibet government in exile, NDTV reports.

The celebration of the 90th anniversary of Dalai lands will take place on July 6 in the north of India-in the city of McLeod-Hande, where he has lived since the escape from Tibet after the invasion of Chinese troops in 1959. This anniversary day will also be an opportunity to urge the Tibetan people to prepare for life without its direct spiritual leadership.

According to the head of Tibet Penpa Cerring, on July 2, a meeting of the oldest Tibetan Lamps will take place-religious elders, at which Dalai Lama will address. After a brief meeting with the Lama, a religious conference will begin, which will also show a video address of the Tibetans leader.

Currently, the details of the message remain unknown, but the Tibetans in exile are widely supported by the conservation of the Dalai Institute. Dalai Lama himself stated that in the event of a tradition of choosing a new leader, the responsibility for this will take the Dalai Lami office in McLod-Hangi. He emphasized that any successor should be born in the free world, not under the control of China.

Many Tibetans are afraid that China can try to appoint its own "successor" to Dalai Lami to strengthen control of the region that he occupied in 1950.

Dalai Lama Tenzin Giazo was recognized as the 14th reincarnation of this spiritual position in 1936 at the age of two years, according to a tradition of over 600 years.
