Law enforcement officers exposed the scheme of fictitious passage of military service by the deputy of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council. The State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) reported this on June 18.
According to the investigation, in 2023 the woman sought to increase her political image among the electorate and colleagues. For this purpose, she passed the Military Medical Commission, was declared suitable for service, and then sent to the training center for basic military training. She was awarded the primary military rank of "soldier".
However, the deputy did not participate in real exercises. According to the DBR, a person - a familiar deputy commander of one of the military units was involved in the scheme. He appealed to the head of the training center to bring a deputy only to the lists of servicemen, without actually participation in training.
To solve the formalities, the deputy brought several times to the training center her driver. After "passing" training, the woman continued the fictitious service in the military unit, where she was designed by the operator in a platoon of intelligence and correction of shock drones.
In addition, the deputy allegedly worked as a telephoneist and specialist in the communications group of the staff.
During the so -called service, she illegally received payments in the amount of more than 200 thousand hryvnias.
The woman was informed of suspicion of committing a donation of military service by deception in the conditions of martial law, by prior conspiracy by a group of persons, as well as in fraud. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
